This Tamil New Year started with total divinity and the bliss continued for almost 15 days after the commencement of the ‘Dhurmukhi’ year.
Getting up early on the 15th April to see the Lord in full glory on the beautiful Thursday to the chants of Vishnu Sahasranama followed by the 3rd Shirdi Sai Satcharita Parayan on the auspicious Sri Rama Navami day on 16th April set in motion the Sai filled weeks to follow.
Sai Aradhana celebrations began on 17th April with the Sai Vrata puja followed on the 18th with packing seva of the goody bags to be given to the workers. The actual distribution for about 200 workers took place on the 19th April. 21st April was our monthly sahasranamam day and Narayan seva.
23rd April a wonderful inspiring talk session by Prashant Raju on the occasion of ‘Prema Bandhamu’ by the students of SSSIHL (by students of Swami based in Sg) brought back memories of Swami with His students and what beautiful relationship they shared.
24th April was the 5th Mahasamadhi day of Swami. A day of total contemplation and seva.
Later that week was fortunate to have satsang with Guru mama (Mr Shankar Narayanan) who’s a great Sai devotee and a Srividya Upasaka. Blessed to witness the Ganapati homam (we sisters got opportunity to prepare modakams for offering to the homam) before the Gayatri Mahayagnam held on 29th April.
On 28th Apr afternoon was blessed to have darshan of Ammachi in Sg.
This yagnam was one of its kind and more than 100 people were able to participate in the homam chanting and a total of 2.5 million gayatris were chanted that day. The vibrations were very powerful.
That evening we had the opportunity to be part of the seva for packing the Pooja materials for the annual Sai Paduka puja held every 1st of May.
The blissful session closed with the Sai Paduka Pooja and I was very happy as my dad was along with me to attend the homams and Paduka puja.
Thank You dearest Swami for giving us such wonderful opportunities to participate in and seek Your blessings.
