A Shirdi Sai bhajan Sandhya was to be organised at the Shirdi Sai temple in Singapore on 29th March 2015; the next day after Sri Rama Navami. One of our Sai sisters had informed to me 2/3 weeks prior if I would be able to participate for the function. I had some other commitment that evening and told sister that it looked difficult for me to attend.
But whatever He wills happens; the program which we were due to attend got postponed and 29th evening saw me right before Baba’s idol in the temple; chanting His ashtotram (108 names) and singing Sai bhajans with other Sai sisters.
As this was happening; little did I realise that a painter right next to us was painting Baba’s picture. He is a really gifted person and indeed a ‘vibhuti’ of Sai, for he kept dancing and swaying to the rhythm of the bhajans all the while sketching and painting Baba’s picture. The place was filled with such divine vibrations; bhajans like ‘Sai naath tere hazaaron haath’ were rendered beautifully by some accomplished singers. Within a span of 2 hours, the image came to life right in front of our eyes. It was stunning; the big face painting of Baba was kindly looking and blessing us. Baba’s presence was felt so much that evening.
I was witnessing such kind of ‘Sai bhajan sandhya’ for the very first time. I went into raptures with the divine music and the artist’s painting.
I was indeed thankful to the Lord for blessing us before our 2nd Sai Satcharita Parayan to be held on 2nd April 2015.
