One must only see what is good, hear and speak what is sacred and positive. These may seem simple maxims but are full of profound significance. We must constantly discriminate between negative and positive actions. All bad and unwholesome actions are negative in character. Our mind must be filled with good thoughts, our hearts should be filled with compassion, and our hands must be engaged in selfless service. We will be caught up in negative behavior, as long as we allow our mind and senses to control us. The moment we consider ourselves as the master of the senses, our actions will be positive. Mastery of the senses leads to liberation which is the ultimate aim of each individual.
